Beautiful Lake Bunyonyi

Bunyonyi Lake (‘Place of many small birds‘) is without doubt the most beautiful lake in Uganda. Its shoreline encircles 29 islands, surrounded by steep terraced hills that recall parts of Nepal.magical place, particularly with morning when the rising sun from reflects on waters, it has replaced the Ssese Islands as place for travellers to chill out on their way through Uganda ,Best of all – unlike many East African lakes – Bunyoni is bilharzia, croc and hippo-free, so its crystal clear waters are all yours for swimming in. Goodbye.

Mysteries of the Equator

The Equator is an imaginary line about Earth’s midst. It is halfway between the North and South Poles, dividing the Earth into the North and South Hemisphere and lucky enough during this tour your are able to see the point and also learn the secrets of this place caused by the rotation of the earth. It is responsible for air being pulled in the Northern Hemisphere to the right (contra-clockwise) and in the Southern Hemisphere to the left (clockwise). The Coriolis Effect is the observed curved path of moving objects relative to the surface of the Earth.

The tales of “Batwa tribe”

Experience the life of the traditional African hunters and how they adopted to agriculture after there forests were destroyed by agriculturalist during your community walk on this tour. Batwa people are increasingly oppressed and suppressed, rendering them one of the most disadvantaged and at risk groups in Central Africa. Some of the Batwa, traditionally a hunter-gatherer society, still practice ancient traditions and customs which are part of their rich culture. In Uganda, however, just as much as in Rwanda, Burundi and Eastern DRC, the livelihood systems of the community and their survival as a whole are in grave danger because of land grabbing committed by the respective governments.

Summary

Bwindi Impenetrable is still the best place for cheap Mountain Gorilla trekking in the world, and bursting with wildlife in the branches of every tree but understating the culture of the Batwa people is so interesting especially when you realize how they managed to live with these Mountain Gorillas and how Gorilla tourism has changed their lives. They are one of the most welcoming yet hardworking
