This is the second largest park in Uganda, the National Park of Queen Elizabeth. Built at Mountain Rwenzori base and next to Edward and George reservoirs. The park is renowned for its abundant game of gazelles, Uganda kob, Warthogs, Cape Buffalos, Elephants and Lions, which are often seen in and at the park's entrance. Keep your eyes peeled in the wild for a leopard.

Safari Highlights

The main game viewing point in Queen Elizabeth National park is the Kasenyi sector thanks to the enormous herds of Kobs,buffalos,Elephants among others.The main attraction however is the tree climbing lions that are easily spotted on Acacia branches during the game drives but in case you fail to see one during the tour,withe the aid if the trackers on some of the cats you can be guided to where they could be hiding especially when it is a wet season

The Kyambura Gorge is known for its thick forest cover stretches Kichwamba escarpemnt and the Kazinga Cannel is another ideal jungle suitable for Chimpanzee Tracking with the aid of Uganda Wildlife Authority Guide

Day 1-ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE

Pick up from Entebbe Airport

Karibu! On arrival at Entebbe International airport, our driver will be waiting to receive you with a card board clearly labelled with team leaders/your name. After introduction He will help you with carrying your luggage “please accept that how Ugandans treat visitors” to the car and transfer you to the Hotel Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to relax at the hotel gardens, visit the Zoo or have a city tour which may include landing sites, Markets or Dine in Uganda’s finest restaurants. All these activities are ordered in advance But if this is a continuation of your tour from Isasha or Kibale to be prepared for an evening game drive or the Hamukungu & Kasoga Village on Lake George Today we should spend a night in the woods in the middle of the park on the Mweya Peninsula
Day 2- TRANSFER TO QENP

Drive to Kasese,Queen Elizabeth N/P

Today we take a picturesque route through the rift valley while enjoying spectacular views of Lake Albert and beautiful little villages. The trip lasts 5 hours and may be tiring but incredible views of the farmlands and the lush green countryside that is typical of Uganda will keep you relaxed Because you've been traveling with a packed lunch, you'll have a short stop at Kasese and enjoy or have lunch at the nearest restaurant and later drive to your hotel

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Queen Elizabeth has amazing Kasenyi sector which has Acacia climbing lions with likely chances of spotting the Leopard,Buffalo,Hyena.If you love Birds then this sector also has many craft shops and salty crater lake where flamingos can be seen during the day After Lunch, you will take a boat safari in the kazinga channel then connects Lake George and Lake Albert. Here you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly see anywhere) as well as a lot of animals rushing to drink in the water hole. It is amazing to see how crocodiles of this area live in harmony with the rest of the animals without feeding on them
Day 4-QUEEN ELIZABETH N/P

Travel to Isasha Sector

After a crisp Chilled Breakfast served, we drive 2 Hours south to Isasha. “Home of the Tree Climbing Lions” On arrival we check into the lodge, drop our luggage and have lunch served at this lodge surrounded by Acacia forests, Lush vegetation with Palm trees dancing and waving to the winds and Birds singing Sweetly. While lion cubs are known for climbing trees Worldwide, Isasha adult lions are Exceptional! They choose to spend most of their free time chilling on the branches along with their cubs producing one of the most spectacular moments for Photographers Jump on our safari Land Cruiser with a pop off roof and drive through the amazing Isasha Swamp with our heads high in the woods in search for this Spectacle
Day 5-END OF TOUR

Game Drive and drive to Kampala

After an early breakfast,we embark on the morning game drive in Isasha again in such for more show from the Tree Climbing lions and whatever nature has for today. Return to our lodge for Lunch and remaining luggage and head off to your next destination. If this is the end of your trip you head back to Kampala via Kasese or head to Bwindi Impenetrable NP or Kasenyi

This park is not only famous for its wildlife but also has a record for being the only game park in Uganda to ever be visited twice by Queen Elizabeth,the first time being on 20th-30th APRIL 1954 and 21st-23rd NOVEMBER 2007 during her visit to commemorate CHOGM that was hosted in Uganda.The park was first known as kazinga Channel Game Park but was later renamed in 1954 in remembrance of her remarkable visit,a name it holds to date
